Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport goods, materials, and supplies to and from designated locations.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, maintaining schedules and deadlines.
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations during transport.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel expenses.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery status.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a logistics or delivery role.
- Familiarity with the local and regional delivery routes.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and handle goods safely during loading and unloading.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) may be required for certain vehicles.
